The name Buck Moon derives from male deer, which shed their antlers every year, begin to regrow them in July, hence the Native American name for July's full moon. Some refer to this moon as the thunder moon, due to the summer storms in this month. Other names include the hay moon, after the July hay harvest.
July's Super Buck Moon is going to be in Capricorn 🐐 - earthy, grounding, but may be a push pull between emotions and being too much in your head. It will also bring about momentum. The Buck's antlers are a sign of rebirth, growth and strength. Thoughts, ideas and dreams will start to take shape as you fuel them under the power of this supermoon and if you're awaiting a decision or outcome, then during this full moon you're likely to receive your answer.
Remember, even if its not what you expected the universe will place you upon the best path for the highest good of all.
This moon also reminds us to slow down, enjoy the moment and remember all the important things in life. Remember all about gratitude.
As we are half way through the lunar year, this super bright moon will illuminate all that you are still carrying in 2023. Be honest with yourself and see what it is that you no longer want to carry along with you for the rest of 2023. The last six months seem to have flown by and in a blink of an eye, the next six will be gone too, so don't waste time carrying old energies around with you everywhere you go.
This really is a great opportunity in the year to have a rethink and reassess of your goals and plans.
The Supermoon will be very powerful for cleansing your crystals - so make some room on your window sill or outside if that's your way! If you've got too many, put your favourites out to moon bathe or use other cleansing / charging methods.
